But white truffle oil can often be a better option for light and creamy foods because of its taste and smell. Black truffle oil, which has a slightly sharper aroma, can be preferred for stronger meat dishes. However, depending on your preference, you can replace the two truffles as you wish. This is up to your taste. White truffle oil will add a bitter and garlic flavor to the dishes, while black truffle oil will add a stronger flavor as it is a little more sulphureous.
